Dr. Christopher Schreiber grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. He decided to be a Veterinarian at the age of five while visiting his uncle and getting to 'assist'. He graduated in 2008 from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine and immediately went to Oklahoma State for an internship in theriogenology (animal reproduction). He joined an animal clinic in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and practiced there from 2009 to 2012. In May of 2012, he joined the staff of Dykes Veterinary Clinic. He has a special interest in internal medicine and orthopedic surgery. He is married and he and his wife have a beautiful daughter. They also share their home with 4 cats and 1 dog. Away from work, he enjoys boating, photography, hiking, bicycling, and being outdoors.

Growing up, Dr. Busby knew she wanted to call Alabama’s Gulf Coast “home.” Dr. Busby graduated with the class of 2024 from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Before attending veterinary school, she received her bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Mississippi State University.
With a fresh perspective and a strong foundation in the latest veterinary techniques, Dr. Busby is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to animals of all kinds. Dr. Busby looks forward to building lasting relationships with pet owners and making a positive impact on the lives of their companions.
In Dr. Busby’s free time, she enjoys gardening, pottery, traveling, and spending time with her doggos, Kate and Jax.

My name is Ariel, I have worked here in reception at the front desk for over two years. I am half Costa Rican and half Argentinean. My lovely wife and I have an Alaskan Malamute Husky mix named Faora, a Golden Retriever named Payton, and a German Shepherd named Maple.

My name is Brittany. I am a veterinary assistant and a pharmacy assistant, and I have been with Dykes Veterinary Clinic for two years now. Working with animals has always been a dream of mine and I'm very grateful for such a wonderful opportunity. I'm originally not from this area; I grew up in the mountains of northern Alabama. I am married with one child, a dog, and cat.

My name is Hailey, and I am a senior veterinary assistant. I have worked here for four years and am currently in school to become a licensed veterinary technician. I love large animals, horses, cows, as well as our small animals.

My name is Julia, I have been a receptionist here for almost two years. I live in Foley with my wonderful husband and the two best Boston Terriers.

My name is Katt, and I entered the veterinary work field in early 2024. Before Dykes, I was involved in rescue and have earned my associate degree to continue my education into veterinary school. Some of my hobbies are scuba diving, horseback riding, as well as thrifting and loving on my three beautiful cats.

My name is Melissa, and I have been a receptionist at the clinic for nine years. I have been married for 21 years and have three grown children, Kayleigh, Kameron, and Kinsley. We recently welcomed our first grandson in the family! I love music and singing, and I appreciate my down time with my family. We have a Pomsky named Wylder, bully breed named Gunner, three cats named Jillie, Wednesday, and Gibby, a bird, turtle, and fish.

My name is Sarah, and I have worked here as a receptionist for 12 years. In my spare time, I love spending time with my husband and four children on our boat and watching all the kids play sports. We love our fur babies and have a full household of three Dobermans, two Cane Corsos, a Blue Heeler, a cat, and a bearded dragon.

My name is Tatyana, and I have worked here as a veterinary assistant for two years. I graduated from Tuskegee University with a bachelor’s degree in animal and poultry sciences with a minor in wildlife. I am also a pet mother of two wonderful toy poodles, Enzo and Ace!

Meet Landry, a veterinary assistant with a passion for caring for animals. She grew up in North Carolina and relocated to Alabama five years ago. Her mission is to treat and take care of all animals with love, respect, and A LOT of treats. If you can’t find Landry at work, you can find her deep-sea fishing or with friends and family. She has a rescue dog named Trigger, a one-eyed cat named Wee Eye, and a turtle. Landry is excited to help assist the doctors to help treat your baby.
